Elderly Care Services
Growing older at home should feel safe, not risky. Teemardari sends trained caregivers, attendants and qualified nurses to homes across Lahore to help ageing parents with daily routines, medicines, mobility, company and memory loss, with senior nurses overseeing every placement.
Elderly Care Services
Teemardari was built on a simple idea: an older person recovers, eats and sleeps better in the house they know, among the people and routines they recognise. We bring the help to them. Trained caregivers for daily living, companions for seniors who are mainly alone, attendants for frail or unwell parents, qualified nurses for clinical work, and dementia-trained staff for families living with memory loss.
A senior nurse assesses your mother or father first, then recommends the service that actually fits rather than the largest one. Hours can be a few mornings a week or a live-in arrangement, and the plan is adjusted as your parent’s strength changes.

What We Offer
Families often use these names interchangeably. We do not, because the staff, the skills and the cost differ in each.
Each service is delivered at your parent's home in Lahore by staff chosen for patience as much as skill, all interviewed in person, background-verified and reference-checked. A senior nurse assesses your parent first and supervises the placement, and the hours, the staff and the cost are agreed with your family before anything begins.

Elderly Home Care
Elderly home care is non-medical help with daily living, delivered in blocks of hours rather than full shifts. A trained caregiver assists with bathing, dressing, the washroom, cooking, eating, medicine reminders and walking, keeps your parent’s own routine, and writes a daily note so the family knows how the day went.
Elderly Nursing Care
When the care involves insulin, injections, drips, dressings, a catheter or a feeding tube, it needs a nurse rather than a caregiver. Our nurses visit on a schedule set by the treatment, take and record readings, follow the doctor’s written prescription exactly, and report changes such as new confusion or ankle swelling promptly.
Senior Citizen Care
This is the service for seniors who are not unwell, only alone. A companion visits on set days for conversation, a walk, the errands that have become awkward and an escort to appointments or gatherings. It is the least clinical and least expensive of our elderly services, and often the most appreciated.
Related Care
Older parents rarely need just one kind of help. We coordinate the rest of it too, under one roof.
Recovery support at home after an operation.
Turning, hygiene and bedsore prevention.
Clinical nursing for long-term conditions.
A PMDC-registered doctor who examines at home.
Therapy for strength, balance and mobility.
Blood taken at home, no laboratory trip.
Doctor reviews for diabetes, BP and heart disease.
Attendant cover for patients of any age.
Postnatal and newborn care at home.
Elderly Patient Attendant
Book an attendant when the question is not which tasks are needed but how long somebody must be there. Frail or unwell elders, parents just home from hospital, and those who get up repeatedly at night need continuous presence. Attendants handle transfers, walking, the washroom and the overnight watch, and escalate anything clinical to a nurse.
Dementia Care
Dementia changes what good care looks like. Our dementia-trained caregivers keep the hours and the order of the day consistent, reorient gently instead of correcting, redirect rather than argue when confusion rises, and work with families on wandering risks, gas and medicine safety, and planned breaks so a carer can sleep.

Meet the People Who Visit
A caregiver, attendant or qualified nurse, chosen for the service you book and matched on language, temperament and your gender preference. We share their name and details before the first visit.
A senior nurse reviews medicines and conditions at the first assessment, visits to check on care, and reads the daily notes. When something changes, the plan is updated with your family and doctor.
Yes. We arrange an introduction with a relative present, because an older parent should meet a new face on their own terms.
Tell your coordinator. We match again, and most families settle on the second try.
Our parents shaped our lives, and the care they receive should respect their habits, dignity and wishes. Teemardari arranges elderly care around your mother or father’s actual day, from prayer times and meal hours to the chair they prefer, and keeps sons and daughters informed whether they live in Lahore or abroad.
Call us to talk through what your parent needs.
Most of what ages a parent quickly is avoidable: a fall on a wet bathroom floor, a week of skipped meals, tablets taken twice or not at all, a quiet infection noticed too late. Regular help at home catches these early, and is far less disruptive than an emergency admission.
Elderly care starts with an assessment, not a price list. A senior nurse looks at your parent’s health, medicines, mobility, memory, appetite and home, agrees which hours genuinely need cover and which service fits, and writes the routine down so any member of staff runs the day the same way. The plan is reviewed as your parent’s strength changes.

FAQs
Questions Lahore families ask most often when arranging care for an ageing parent.
A nurse takes and records blood pressure, pulse, temperature and oxygen, with blood sugar where diabetes is involved, then gives prescribed insulin, injections or drips and manages wounds, catheters and feeding tubes. A caregiver or attendant does none of that; their visit covers bathing, meals, medicine reminders, walking and the washroom.
Both. Companion and caregiver visits are booked by the hour, nursing care by the visit or as a longer shift, and attendant cover as twelve-hour day or night shifts. A live-in arrangement is also possible, with relief staff for leave days.
Yes. Tell us when you book. Most families ask for female staff for a mother and male staff for a father, particularly where bathing, the washroom or lifting is involved, and we match wherever staff are available in your area.
Yes, on a valid written prescription and by a qualified nurse, never by a caregiver or attendant. Caregivers may remind your parent to take tablets and record each dose, and will flag missed doses or side effects for your doctor to review.
Yes, through our home nursing service. Elderly care itself is deliberately less clinical. If your parent needs oxygen, tracheostomy care or close monitoring after an ICU stay, ask the coordinator to arrange nursing cover rather than a caregiver.
By the service, the hours and the skill involved, so companion visits cost least, caregiver hours more, attendant shifts more again, and nursing care most. You get a clear figure before anything starts, and any consumables are listed separately.
Your parent’s current prescriptions, any recent reports or discharge summary, and their usual walking aid, glasses and hearing aid. After the assessment we may suggest simple home changes such as a grab bar, a bath mat, a night light or a lower bed.
For urgent cover, often the same day, depending on your area and the staff needed. For anything longer term we prefer a short assessment visit first, which we usually arrange within a day or two of your call.
