Mother & Baby Care Services
Teemardari supports new mothers and newborns at home across Lahore with postnatal recovery checks, newborn care and practical help for the mother. Female nurses and caregivers are available, and every plan follows your gynaecologist’s and paediatrician’s advice.
Mother & Baby Care Services
The weeks after a birth are demanding for the whole household. Teemardari sends qualified nurses for recovery checks and newborn care, and trained caregivers for the daily load, so a new mother can rest and heal instead of running the house on no sleep.
Every family needs something different: a caesarean recovery, a first baby, twins, or simply no one at home to help through the night. Tell the coordinator what the days look like and the cover is arranged around that.
What We Cover
Most families use more than one. A senior nurse puts them into a single plan.
A trained caregiver looks after the mother herself: rest, meals and fluids, bathing and dressing, moving safely after a caesarean, and bringing the baby for feeds. Day shifts, nights or live-in cover are available, and support can begin in late pregnancy if a doctor has advised bed rest.
A trained newborn care nurse helps with feeding and burping, umbilical cord care, sponge and tub baths, nappy care and settling the baby for sleep. Feeds and nappies are logged, weight and colour are watched, and parents are shown each step until they feel confident doing it themselves.
A qualified nurse visits in the weeks after delivery to check blood pressure, temperature, bleeding and the womb, dress stitches or a caesarean wound, and look at the breasts for engorgement or blocked ducts. Prescribed medicines are given, mood is asked about gently, and findings are written down for your gynaecologist.
Mother Care at Home
Mother care at home is about the mother, not the clinical side. A trained caregiver helps her wash and dress, eat and drink well, move gently after a normal delivery or a caesarean, and sleep while someone else settles the baby. Cover runs as day shifts, nights or live-in, for a few days or several weeks, and female caregivers are available on request.
Newborn Baby Care
Newborn baby care covers the everyday needs of a baby’s first weeks at home: feeding support and burping, keeping the cord clean and dry until the stump falls away, sponge baths and later tub baths, nappy care and safe sleep. The nurse keeps a simple record of feeds and wet nappies, watches colour, temperature and weight, and tells you promptly when your paediatrician should see the baby.
Postnatal Care
Postnatal care is the nursing side of recovery after birth. A qualified nurse visits at home to check blood pressure, pulse and temperature, ask about bleeding and pain, examine stitches or a caesarean wound, and check the breasts and feeding. Prescribed medicines and injections are given as your gynaecologist has written them, and anything that needs a doctor is raised with you the same day.

Meet the Team
A qualified nurse for recovery checks and newborn care, or a trained caregiver for day-to-day help with the mother. Female staff are available, and we share the name before the first visit.
A senior nurse writes the plan, visits or calls to review it, and supports the staff member by phone. Care notes are read regularly, and the plan changes as the mother and baby progress.
Yes. We can arrange a phone call or a short introductory visit before the first shift, which many mothers prefer.
Tell your coordinator. We will arrange a different nurse or caregiver as quickly as we can.
The first weeks with a new baby are tender and tiring, and many families in Lahore are managing them without the help an earlier generation had at home. Teemardari sends trained, background-verified nurses and caregivers into the house so the mother can rest and heal, and the baby’s day finds a settled rhythm.
Call us to plan care around your due date or your discharge.
Most recovery after birth happens at home rather than in hospital, and that is where families feel the gap. Regular checks at home mean the mother is not travelling while she is sore and tired, warning signs are noticed earlier, and parents learn feeding, bathing and cord care in their own rooms.
Every Teemardari mother and baby plan starts with the delivery notes, the mother’s health, your doctors’ instructions and what your household actually needs. A senior nurse sets the visits or shifts, writes down what each staff member will do, and reviews the plan as the mother recovers and the baby grows. Plans are reviewed again whenever a doctor changes treatment.

FAQs
Questions Lahore families ask us most about mother and baby care at home.
It depends on the mother’s and baby’s needs and your doctors’ instructions. A postnatal visit usually covers blood pressure, pulse and temperature, bleeding, the womb, stitches or a caesarean wound, the breasts and feeding, and a gentle question about mood. Newborn visits cover feeding, cord care, bathing, nappies, weight and colour.
Both. You can book single visits, daily visits, a day or night shift, or live-in cover, and change the pattern as the mother recovers.
Yes. Most families choose female nurses and caregivers for this care, and they are available. Tell us when you book so we can plan the right person for your home.
Yes, when a doctor has prescribed them. Nurses give prescribed injections, drips and iron or antibiotic courses after delivery, using sterile single-use equipment. We ask to see the prescription or the discharge summary before the first dose.
A mother or baby who needs intensive care belongs in hospital, and we will say so plainly. For a baby discharged from a nursery, or a mother who needs closer monitoring at home, we can look for a nurse with that experience, and your doctor stays in charge of treatment.
Charges depend on whether you book visits, day shifts, night shifts or live-in cover, and for how long. Your coordinator gives a clear quote before care begins, and tells you in advance if anything needs to change.
Keep the discharge summary, prescriptions and the baby’s records to hand, along with any medicines, dressings or feeding equipment the doctor advised. A clean surface for bathing and changing, and somewhere for the mother to rest undisturbed, help a great deal.
Care is usually planned around your due date or your discharge date, which is easiest for everyone. If you are already home and struggling, call or WhatsApp 03176364604 and our team usually reaches you within about two hours.
