Doctor Consultations

Doctor Home Visit Service in Lahore

A PMDC-registered doctor comes to your home in Lahore, examines your relative properly and explains what is happening. Treatment starts at the bedside where that is safe, and the doctor tells you plainly if hospital care is the better choice.

Honest Advice on Hospital Care

Doctor Home Visit

A Doctor at Your Bedside

When you call, our team asks about the symptoms and how urgent they seem, then arranges a suitable doctor. The doctor arrives with a medical bag including a stethoscope, blood pressure monitor, pulse oximeter, thermometer and glucometer. After the consultation, you receive a written prescription and clear instructions, and we can arrange lab tests, nursing care or a follow-up visit if needed.

Services Include

Goal

To bring a careful, unhurried medical assessment to your loved one’s bedside, so illness is treated early and hospital visits happen only when truly needed.

Who Should Book a Doctor Home Visit?

A home visit suits a patient who cannot easily get to a clinic: an elderly parent who is weak or unsteady, a bedridden patient, someone with dementia who becomes distressed in a waiting room, or a relative who has been feverish for days. Families also book one when a long-term condition changes and they want a doctor to look before deciding anything. It is not the right choice for an emergency.

What Happens During the Visit

The doctor takes the history from the patient and the family, then examines: pulse, blood pressure, temperature, oxygen level on a pulse oximeter, blood sugar on a glucometer, chest, abdomen and whatever the symptoms point to. Current medicines and recent reports are reviewed together. The doctor then explains the likely cause in Urdu or English, starts treatment where it is appropriate and writes a prescription.

What a Home Visit Cannot Do

A home visit brings a doctor and a medical bag, not a hospital. There is no X-ray, ultrasound, CT scanner or ward bed at your house, and blood has to be sent to a laboratory. So if the doctor finds chest pain, low oxygen, severe dehydration, a tense abdomen or confusion that is getting worse, they will tell you to go to hospital rather than treat it at home.

Who Needs It

Patients a Home Doctor Visit Suits

Our coordinator asks about the symptoms first, so an urgent case is sent to hospital instead of waiting for a visit.

Elderly and Frail Patients

Assessment at home for parents who find the journey to a clinic exhausting.

Fever and Infections

Chest, urine and stomach infections assessed and treated at home where that is safe.

Bedridden Patients

A proper examination without moving a patient who cannot sit up.

Dementia and Confusion

Familiar surroundings keep a confused patient calmer than a crowded waiting room.

Unstable Sugar or Blood Pressure

Readings reviewed at the table with the logbook and the medicine boxes, and doses changed where the doctor sees a reason.

Patients Living Alone

A check on a parent who lives alone and has told you only that they feel unwell.

Our Approach

A home visit is worth the fee only if the doctor is unhurried. We book one patient per slot, ask for reports in advance, and leave the doctor enough time to sit down, examine properly and answer the family’s questions.

From Call to Prescription

  1. Call or WhatsApp — tell us the symptoms, the age and your area, and we will say whether a visit or a hospital is right.
  2. Share what you have — prescriptions, discharge papers and recent reports, so the doctor reads them before arriving.
  3. Doctor assigned and timed — we confirm the doctor’s name and an arrival window with you.
  4. Visit and prescription — history, examination, explanation and a written prescription at the bedside.

Afterwards — we can arrange lab tests at home, nursing care or a follow-up visit.

Why Families Call Us

You know who is coming, what they are registered to do, and what they found. The doctor’s notes stay on the patient’s file, so a second visit does not start the history again from the beginning.

A Doctor at Home for Elderly Parents

Assessed at home, at their own pace

Looking for a doctor who will visit an elderly parent at home in Lahore? Older patients are the ones for whom a clinic trip costs the most: the stairs, the car, the wait, then ten minutes with a doctor. A home visit reverses that. The doctor sees how your parent actually moves around the house, what is in the medicine drawer and whether the bathroom is a fall risk, and that changes the advice.
Doctors visit homes across DHA, Gulberg, Johar Town, Model Town, Bahria Town and the rest of Lahore. If your parent also needs help through the day, see our elderly home care, and for regular reviews of diabetes or blood pressure see chronic disease consultation.

Stroke Rehabilitation

FAQs

Doctor Home Visit FAQs

Common questions about booking a doctor home visit in Lahore.

What times can a doctor visit?

Visits are arranged from early morning until late evening, including weekends. Late-night calls depend on which doctor is on duty, so tell the coordinator how soon you need someone. If the symptoms will not safely wait until morning, we will say so and point you to a hospital.
One PMDC-registered doctor attends. A nurse does not come as well unless something is prescribed that needs one, such as an injection or a drip, and that is booked separately as home nursing so you are not charged for help you do not need.
A chair beside the bed, good light and a few minutes of quiet. Have the current medicine boxes, old prescriptions, discharge summaries and any recent reports in one place. One family member who knows the history should stay in the room, because patients often leave out the part that matters.
Often, yes. Across most of Lahore a doctor usually reaches you within about two hours of the call, traffic and availability permitting, and we give you an honest arrival window rather than an optimistic one. For anything that cannot wait that long, call 1122 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Yes. Tell the coordinator when you book whether you would prefer a male or female doctor, and we will match it where one is available in your area. Many families ask for a female doctor for a female patient, and it is a normal request.
The fee covers the consultation and depends on the distance, the time of day and whether a general doctor or a specialist is needed. Tests, medicines and any nursing booked afterwards are separate. Your coordinator quotes the visit fee before the doctor is sent, not after.
Call the coordinator on 03176364604 rather than the doctor. We will either send another doctor who has read the notes, or reschedule with you if the case can safely wait. You are not left waiting for someone who is no longer coming.
A home visit covers illness that is not immediately life-threatening. Chest pain, severe breathlessness, stroke signs, a seizure, heavy bleeding or collapse need 1122 or the nearest emergency department, not a doctor driving across Lahore. Our doctors will also send a patient to hospital whenever that is safer.
