Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Services
Teemardari brings qualified physiotherapists, speech therapists and occupational therapists to your home in Lahore. Therapy follows your doctor’s written plan, moves at the pace your loved one can manage, and uses the rooms, stairs and furniture they already know.
Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Services
At Teemardari Home Health Care we see the same pattern often: the hospital stay ends, the discharge summary says to continue physiotherapy, and the family is left to work out how.
So the therapist comes to you instead. Physiotherapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy are delivered at home across Lahore, following the plan your doctor or surgeon has set, with goals agreed in writing and reviewed as your loved one changes.
Qualified physiotherapists, speech therapists and occupational therapists visit your home in Lahore for recovery after surgery, a stroke, a fracture or a long illness. Sessions are one to one, progress is written down, and the plan is adjusted to what your loved one can manage.
Our Therapies
Recovery needs differ. Here is what each of the seven services in this category is for, so you can choose a starting point.
Each therapy in this category starts the same way: a qualified therapist assesses what your loved one can and cannot do now, agrees goals with the family, and works to the treating doctor’s plan. What the sessions contain then differs by condition. Open a service to see how it is delivered.

Home Physiotherapy
Home physiotherapy brings assessment and hands-on treatment to your own house. The first visit measures pain, posture, strength, joint range and how your loved one walks, and ends with a written plan and agreed goals. Later sessions build on it with guided exercise, stretching, joint mobilisation and, where it suits, heat or a TENS unit. The therapist brings portable equipment.
Post-Surgery Physiotherapy
After an operation the question is not whether to move, but how much and when. We ask for the discharge summary and any restrictions first, such as weight-bearing limits or hip precautions. Breathing and circulation exercises come early, then bed mobility, transfers and walking with a frame, a stick and, where the surgeon allows, unaided.
Stroke Rehabilitation
A stroke can change the use of one arm and leg, sitting and standing balance, speech and swallowing. The first visit assesses strength, tone, sensation, balance and how much help daily tasks need. Goals are then agreed with the family, such as sitting unsupported, walking to the bathroom or eating without help, and each task is broken into small, repeatable steps.
Related Care
Recovery rarely needs therapy alone. Nursing, doctor visits and tests can be arranged around the same plan, through one coordinator.
Recovery support after surgery for safe, steady healing.
Hygiene, positioning and bedsore prevention.
Skilled, respectful nursing for seniors at home.
PMDC-registered doctors visiting your home.
Professional physiotherapy delivered at home.
Convenient blood sample collection at home.
Regular care for diabetes, BP and heart conditions.
Attendants for daily help at home.
Postnatal and newborn baby care at home.
Paralysis Rehabilitation
Where movement or feeling has been lost, therapy protects what the body still has. Each visit starts with a skin check over the pressure points, then moves every joint through its range, stretches tight muscles, strengthens the working ones and practises a real task such as rolling, sitting up or a sliding-board transfer.
Fracture Rehabilitation
We ask for the latest X-ray report and the orthopaedic doctor’s instructions before the first session. The physiotherapist measures joint movement, swelling and strength, checks the skin around any scar or pin sites, then works from gentle mobility towards strengthening, balance and walking. Crutches, a walker or a stick are introduced and reduced at the pace the healing bone allows.
Speech Therapy
Speech therapy at home assesses talking, understanding and swallowing where they actually happen. Exercises are built around family names, familiar topics and the foods your loved one eats. Where swallowing is unsafe, the therapist may watch a meal and advise on textures, thickened drinks, posture and pace. Where speech is very limited, picture boards and gestures give another way through.

Meet Our Therapy Team
A qualified physiotherapist, speech therapist or occupational therapist, matched to the condition and to your preference for a male or female therapist. We share the name before the first visit.
A senior therapist reads each assessment and the session notes, reviews the goals and adjusts the plan. Where progress stalls or new symptoms appear, they raise it with your family and the treating doctor.
Yes. We can arrange a short call or an introductory visit so your loved one meets the therapist before any exercises begin.
Tell your coordinator. Another therapist is matched and briefed from the written notes, so progress is not lost.
Recovery is slow work, and it goes better in a familiar room with family nearby. Teemardari arranges physiotherapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy across Lahore, with one coordinator on your file, written goals and honest updates. We cannot promise an outcome, because that depends on the injury, the illness and the person, but the plan always follows your doctor’s advice.
Call us to arrange an assessment for your loved one.
Much of what an outpatient physiotherapy department does can be done at home: assessment, hands-on treatment, guided exercise, walking practice with a frame or crutches, and training for the family. Working in your own house also exposes the real obstacles, such as a low bed, a slippery bathroom floor or steep stairs, which a clinic never sees.
Every plan starts with an assessment and a goal the family recognises, such as standing from the bed alone, walking to the gate, swallowing a soft diet or buttoning a kameez. The therapist records where your loved one is now, agrees how progress will be measured and reviews it regularly. Plans change when the doctor changes treatment, or when a goal is reached.

FAQs
Answers to the questions families ask us most about therapy at home in Lahore.
The therapist checks pain, movement, balance and anything that has changed since the last visit, works through hands-on treatment and guided exercise, then leaves a few exercises to practise. Notes are updated before they go. For injections, drips, wounds or feeding tubes, see our home nursing services.
You can start with a single home assessment and a written exercise plan, then decide. Therapy is booked by the session rather than by the hour or the day, so you can add weekly visits, choose an intensive programme in the early weeks after a stroke or surgery, or stop.
Yes. Tell us when you book and we will match a male or female therapist where one is available in your area. Many families ask for a female therapist for an elderly mother, or for exercises that need close physical support.
A referral is not always required, but it helps. Where there has been recent surgery, a fracture, a stroke or a heart condition, please share the discharge summary or doctor’s notes so the therapist knows the restrictions. Where something is unclear, we will ask you to confirm it with the treating doctor before exercise begins.
We will not promise that. Rehabilitation outcomes depend on the injury or illness, the person’s age and general health, and how much practice happens between sessions. What we do is measure where your loved one stands now, agree goals with you, follow the doctor’s plan, and tell you honestly each month what has changed and what has not.
Charges depend on the therapy, the length of the session and how often it is needed, and the first assessment is priced separately. Your coordinator gives you the rate for your case before anything starts, and mentions any equipment cost rather than adding it later.
A firm chair, some clear floor space beside the bed and any walking aid already in the house. Keep the discharge summary, X-ray reports and the doctor’s instructions ready, and dress your loved one in loose clothing and non-slip footwear so exercise is safe.
Our team usually calls back within two hours of your message to discuss what is needed. A first assessment is commonly arranged for the next day, and often sooner in Johar Town, DHA, Gulberg, Model Town, Bahria Town and Iqbal Town, where more of our therapists are based.
