Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation

Home Physiotherapy in Lahore

A qualified physiotherapist comes to your house in Lahore to assess pain, posture, strength and walking, then treat them. Exercises use your own bed, chair and stairs, so what your loved one practises is what they actually need to do.

Pain and Mobility Assessment

Portable Equipment

Written Exercise Sheet

Treatment in Your Own Room

Home Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy in the Comfort of Home

Your physiotherapist usually brings portable equipment such as resistance bands, a TENS unit where needed and a folding exercise mat. The first visit covers a full assessment of pain, posture, strength and walking, followed by a clear plan with goals. Later sessions build on that plan, and each one ends with simple exercises your loved one can repeat safely before the next visit.

Services Include

Goal

To help reduce pain, improve movement and keep your loved one active and independent at home, using exercises that fit everyday life.

Who Should Book Home Physiotherapy?

Home physiotherapy suits an older parent who has become weak or unsteady on their feet, anyone living with arthritis or long-standing back, neck or knee pain, and a patient still weak after a hospital stay or a long illness. It also suits families for whom the trip to a clinic is the painful part: a stiff knee, a walking frame, stairs and Lahore traffic.

What the First Visit Covers

The physiotherapist takes a history, then measures pain, posture, joint range, muscle strength and how your loved one stands up, walks and turns. Blood pressure is checked where it matters. From that assessment comes a written plan with two or three goals you can actually see, such as climbing the stairs without help or sleeping through the night without shoulder pain.

How a Session Is Run

Each session opens with a quick check of pain and anything that has changed since the last visit. Hands-on work follows, usually joint mobilisation and soft-tissue techniques, then guided exercise at the effort your loved one can manage that day. Heat or a TENS unit is used only where it suits. The notes are updated before the therapist leaves.

Who It Helps

Conditions We See Most at Home

Every patient is assessed before any exercise begins. The plan then follows the findings, not a standard template.

Back and Neck Pain

Treatment and posture advice for long-standing spinal pain and sciatica.

Knee and Hip Arthritis

Exercise to support stiff, painful joints and keep walking as comfortable as possible.

Frozen Shoulder

Graded stretching and mobilisation for a shoulder that has stiffened.

Weakness After Illness

Rebuilding strength and stamina after a long illness or hospital stay.

Unsteady Older Adults

Balance and strength work, plus advice on footwear, lighting and loose rugs, to lower fall risk.

Desk and Driving Pain

Neck, shoulder and lower-back pain from long hours at a desk or behind the wheel.

Our Approach

Physiotherapy only works if the exercises are done between visits. So we keep the programme short, write it down in plain language, show a family member how to help, and check at every visit whether it is actually being managed at home.

How It Works

  1. Home assessment — pain, posture, joint range, strength and walking are measured and written down.
  2. Goals agreed — two or three things that matter in daily life, chosen with your loved one.
  3. Treatment plan — how often sessions run, the hands-on techniques to be used and the exercises to practise in between.
  4. Sessions and review — the same physiotherapist wherever possible, with the plan adjusted as pain settles or strength returns.

Back to the doctor — where pain is new, severe or unexplained, we ask you to see the doctor before treatment continues.

Why Home Sessions Help

A clinic sees your loved one for twenty minutes on a treatment couch. At home the physiotherapist sees the low bed, the high step at the gate and the narrow bathroom door, and plans around them.

Physiotherapist Home Visits for Elderly Parents

Gentle treatment, close to hand

Looking for a physiotherapist for a home visit in Lahore for an elderly parent? Age brings stiff joints, weaker legs and a shorter, more careful walking pattern, and a single fall can undo months of progress. Sessions at home work on standing up from the chair your parent actually uses, walking the length of the corridor, managing one stair safely, and the strength and balance behind all three.
Our physiotherapists visit DHA, Gulberg, Johar Town, Model Town, Bahria Town and the rest of Lahore. Where daily help with washing, dressing and moving is also needed, see elderly home care, and for everyday tasks, occupational therapy.

FAQs

Home Physiotherapy FAQs

Common questions about physiotherapy at home in Lahore.

How long is a session, and how often?

A session usually runs forty-five minutes to an hour, booked at a fixed time, most often mid-morning or late afternoon when your loved one has some energy. Most families start with two or three sessions a week and reduce the frequency as pain settles and strength returns.
We try hard to keep one physiotherapist on a case, because continuity is how progress gets noticed. Where a change is unavoidable, the next therapist is briefed from the written assessment and session notes. If occupational therapy is added later, that therapist visits on separate days and works from the same plan.
A referral is not always required, but please share any doctor’s note, X-ray or MRI report you have. Where pain is new, severe or unexplained, or where there has been recent surgery or a heart condition, we will ask you to confirm with the doctor before exercise begins.
Very little. A firm chair without wheels, some clear floor space beside the bed and reasonable lighting are usually enough. The physiotherapist brings resistance bands, a folding mat and a TENS unit where one is needed. Please have loose clothing and non-slip footwear ready.
Call or WhatsApp with the problem, your area of Lahore and any reports, and the coordinator will give you the earliest assessment time, often the next day. Sessions are daytime appointments, so we do not begin treatment late at night.
Yes. Say which you prefer when you book and we will match a male or female physiotherapist where one is free in your area. A family member is welcome to stay in the room for every session.
The first assessment is charged separately from the sessions that follow, because it takes longer. After that the rate depends on how many sessions a week you choose. Your coordinator quotes for your case before the first visit, and says plainly if an aid such as a walker would cost extra.
Some muscle soreness for a day after a session is common and settles. Sharp pain, numbness, dizziness or breathlessness is not, and the therapist stops immediately if any appears. Tell us honestly how your loved one felt afterwards, because the next session is adjusted from that.
